Students should study any of the topics related to the questions they got wrong on the CRCT-like test we took in class on March 29. Every student was provided with a copy of this test and the correct answers. Topics can be studied by using the student's Mead-5 Star notebook that contains the handouts and notes we utilized all year. Here's a helpful link if this notebook is disorganized or lost.

Verb Test Relearn and Retest Requirements/Options
In class on Monday, May 26 students will be provided with these requirements/opportunities. If a student scored between a 70% and an 80% on the Summative Verb Test (see Parent Portal), it is optional. If a student scored below a 70%, the relearn activity is manditory and so is the retest.
Relearn: Students who wish to retest must first produce a handwritten study summary (use notes from notebook to create) that includes: a list of words that can be linking verbs (11), a list of action verbs-any verbs of their choosing (11), a list of helping verbs (from the Mr. Do chart), and a list of state of being verbs. Additionally, five sentences must be written by the student. These five sentences must have all the verbs correctly labeled as action, helping, linking, or state of being. This work MUST be turned in by Tuesday, March 27, 2012.
Re-testing Session: If your last name begins with A through M,
Wednesday, March 28 @ 8:15 a.m.
If your last name begins with N through Z,
Friday, March 30 @ 8:15 a.m.

Formative Quiz Tuesday - Summative Test Wednesday
